About Us

Friends of Friend, Inc. Friend, Inc. Community Services is a local non-profit social service agency serving individuals and families in Northeastern Berks County. Currently Friend, Inc. provides a food pantry, case management, budget counseling, parenting support groups, financial crisis interventions, an anti-truancy initiative, internship for social work students at the BSW and MSW levels, and facilitates partnerships with other local service providers. Friend, Inc. has several annual fund raisers including an Auction, Golf Tournament, Friend Fest, and Christmas Cheer. Our aim is to fight poverty. The board, donors, staff, and volunteers work very hard to make this a reality.

Friend, Inc. is open and welcomes any form of support. For most of our programs and services we need support. It may be in any form (volunteer services, donations, funds, and so on).
